Port Byron, Illinois. Achievements
during my tenure include increased student participation in vocal music by 50%,
initiation and development of a high school vocal jazz program, creation of
original jazz arrangements for said program, and Superior and Excellent ratings
earned at all levels of competition. I also expanded the general music
curriculum to incorporate World Music Drumming as an integral musical and
multicultural experience for each student in 6th grade.
